Split & Trogir Small Group Shore Tour

Two UNESCO cities in one cruise day — at a per-person price

€72 per person 5.0

If you are travelling solo, as a couple, or as two travellers who would rather pay per person than hire a private van, this is the cleanest way to see both Split and Trogir on a cruise day. You join a small, friendly group — capped at fourteen guests — with a licensed local guide who handles the timing, the parking, the cathedral entry queue, and most importantly the walk back to the ship. The day starts with a guided loop through Diocletian's Palace: the Peristyle, the Cathedral of St. Domnius, the basement halls where episodes of Game of Thrones were shot, and the old town's quieter lanes. From Split you drive thirty minutes up the coast to Trogir, a tiny medieval island town that feels frozen in the 13th century. Your guide walks you through the main square, points out the Radovan Portal on the cathedral, and then hands you forty-five minutes of free time for a proper coffee, gelato, or a wander along the seafront. The ride back to Split drops you just five minutes from the cruise terminal — enough of a walk to stretch your legs, short enough that nobody ever gets nervous about the ship.

Questions about this tour

Is this tour suitable for cruise ship passengers?
Yes, it is designed for them. The schedule is built around standard Split port call times, the drop-off is a short walk from the cruise terminal, and the guide watches the clock so you never feel rushed or anxious about missing the ship.
How big is the group?
Small by design. The cap is fourteen guests and most departures run with eight to twelve people. Large enough to feel sociable, small enough that your guide can actually answer questions.
Why is this cheaper than the private version?
You share the vehicle and guide with other cruise guests instead of paying for the full van yourself. If there are one, two, or three of you, the per-person price usually works out lower than the private tour. For a family of four or more, do the maths on the private option — it can come out cheaper.
Is the cruise terminal pickup walkable?
Yes. The meeting point is a few minutes on foot from Split's cruise terminal. The route is flat, well-lit, and clearly signposted. The booking confirmation includes a map pin and written walking directions.
What happens if the ship arrives late?
We track cruise arrivals. If the port announces a delay, the meeting time is shifted and the group is informed. If the delay is too long to run the full itinerary, we shorten it and keep the highlights.
Can I book just for the return leg if I want to explore Split on my own first?
The tour is sold as a single 5-hour product. If you want a shorter or custom schedule, the private Split & Trogir excursion is the better fit — you control the timing entirely.
