Local, not agency

A local Split operator — not a white-label reseller.

Every tour on this site is run on the ground by Time Travel Split, a licensed tour company based in Split. You are not booking with an aggregator that forwards your email to a random driver. You are booking with the people who will drive you, guide you, and walk you back to your ship.

The founder, Silvio, has been running shore excursions from Split cruise port for over a decade. The guides are all locally licensed and speak English fluently. The vehicles are air-conditioned, insured, and inspected. Nothing on this page is outsourced to a stranger.

Cruise day questions, answered

Everything most guests ask before booking a shore excursion from Split.

Where do shore excursions start in Split?
Every tour on this site starts at the Split cruise terminal (Gat Sv. Duje). Your licensed guide meets you at the terminal exit with a name sign — you walk straight to the vehicle. Tender-port arrivals in central Split are also supported; the pickup adjusts automatically based on your ship's berthing assignment.
How do I know I will make it back to my ship in time?
Every itinerary is built backwards from your ship's all-aboard time, with a buffer included. Your guide monitors the schedule throughout the day, knows the port routing better than the port does, and adjusts pace if anything upstream runs long. In over a decade on this route we have not missed a sailing.
Should I book a private tour or a small-group one?
Private for families of four or more, anyone with mobility preferences, people who want to control the itinerary, or travellers who simply prefer no strangers in the vehicle. Small-group for solo travellers and couples who want the per-person price to work out lower. For two or three adults it is worth pricing both — sometimes private wins even for small parties.
What if my ship is delayed or cancels the Split call?
If your arrival is delayed, we adjust meeting time and trim the itinerary to keep the highlights. If your cruise line cancels the Split port call entirely, you receive a full refund through the Bokun booking system — no negotiation, no forms.
Are tickets and entrance fees included?
All transport, guide, parking, and fuel are included. The Krka National Park entrance fee is paid at the gate because the park sets the price seasonally and it changes every year. Optional cathedral entry tickets in Split and Trogir are also not included. Every tour page lists what is and is not included in detail.
Are the tours suitable for older travellers or people with reduced mobility?
Mostly yes, and the private tours are very flexible. Split old town has cobblestones but is generally flat. Trogir is small and walkable. Primošten includes mostly flat paths and a short optional climb. Krka has long boardwalks. If you have specific accessibility needs, write to us and we will recommend the right tour and adjust the pace.
