Split Shore Excursions is a small, local site. It exists for one reason — to make it as easy as possible for cruise passengers docking in Split to book a tour that will actually happen, with a guide who is actually waiting at the terminal, and to be back on board in time for all-aboard.

Every tour on this site is run on the ground by Time Travel Split, a licensed tour operator based in Split, Croatia. The founder is Silvio — born in Split, licensed since 2014, and running shore excursions from the cruise port for over a decade. The other guides are all locally licensed, speak English fluently, and mostly grew up within an hour of the port.

This is a small operation by choice. A small fleet, a handful of licensed driver-guides, and one booking system (Bokun) that instantly confirms your tour, handles the payment, and refunds you if your ship cancels the Split call. There is no call centre, no offshore reseller, no middleman marking up the price. When you email the address at the bottom of the page, a real person based in Split reads and answers it — usually the same day.

Why only four tours?

Because four is how many tours we can run well from the Split cruise port on a cruise day. The itineraries are tested — on timing, on logistics, on what cruise guests actually want to see given six hours ashore. You will not find a "Plitvice Lakes from Split cruise port" tour on this site, because it cannot be done responsibly in the time a cruise call allows. You will not find a "Dubrovnik day trip from Split cruise port" tour, for the same reason.

What is here is what works: two Split & Trogir excursions (one private, one small group), a Krka Waterfalls and Trogir combination, and a Primošten beach excursion for guests who have already seen the main cruise highlights or want a slower day.

The booking system

Bookings on this site run through Bokun, the same system used by most of the serious tour operators in Dalmatia. You pay securely online, get an instant confirmation with a booking reference, and can cancel within the window shown on each tour page. If your cruise line cancels the Split port call, you get a full refund automatically. If your ship arrives delayed, the meeting time adjusts automatically.

Where to find us
